The TASOL Professional Doctorate Program is an advanced research-based degree designed to equip professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their fields. This intensive program, spanning 12-18 months, combines rigorous academic research with practical application, tailored to support professionals in achieving leadership roles or specialized expertise.

Key components of the program include an obligatory course on Professional Development and Dissertation Design(Course 5) (Professional Certificate in Doctoral Proposal Development and Dissertation Design).

This course guides candidates in refining essential research skills and developing a robust dissertation, fostering a well-rounded professional identity grounded in both theoretical and practical knowledge.

This program includes two Steps:

Step1:The TASOL Professional Doctorate requires completion of (Course 5) - Professional Certificate in TASOL Doctoral Research and Dissertation Design as a prerequisite. This course equips candidates with essential research and dissertation planning skills needed for the doctorate program. Only those who complete this course may proceed to the dissertation phase.

Step2:The dissertation phase of the TASOL Professional Doctorate (TASOL Certified Dissertation Specialist (CDS),(Course 6) is the final and most critical stage of the program. During this phase, candidates conduct original research under the guidance of an assigned supervisor, applying advanced TASOL methodologies to address a significant issue in the field. Candidates will gather and analyze data, interpret findings, and document their research in a well-structured dissertation.

The phase concludes with a formal dissertation defense, where candidates present and defend their work before a review panel. Successful completion of this phase demonstrates the candidate’s expertise and qualifies them for the TASOL Professional Doctorate.
